how to set windows+o shortcut to one program?

i want to set windows+o hotkey to open outlook. How to set it?
creating a shortcut is not at help. it's not allowing me to enter
windows hotkey.
any help would be appreciated...

The simplest method is:
1. SEND TO DESKTOP your app, i.e. create a LNK file on
the Desktop for your app. Its icon can be anything you choose.
2. Right Click this icon and choose / Properties / Shortcut.
Preferred combinations are Ctl + Alt + key.

Yes, short of using third-party software, you have to do it via a
shortcut. Once you've created the shortcut, right-click it and choose
properties. On the Shortcut tab, you can choose the hotkey you want,
but it would have to be Ctrl+Alt+O, not just Ctrl+O.
