How to set OL to use address the message was sent to?

I have 4 addresses. When I reply to a message I want the address the message
was sent to to be the address sent from.

But, OL keeps using the default address.

How do I stop this?

Outlook by default uses the address the email was sent to as the account
that replies are sent from, and I don't think there is any way to change
that. How do you know it isn't?

Thank you for your response.

The addresses are boxes and are forwarded to a "master" box.

Is you explanation valid because the header bit for reply-to is being
replaced by the forwarding function?

And that it will not matter if a separate account exists in OL 07 for a
particular address?

You may have what you think are four addresses, but they're really all
aliases of a single mailbox. As such, they're really all the same
address and, since Outlook works on a mailbox basis, it can't tell the
difference, since they all arrive via the same account. Either have
your ISP assign you a separate mailbox for each address so Outlook can
reply properly or choose your account manually.

I posted a message on Saturday. But it appears to not have been added to the
thread.

All 4 addresses are actual boxes. And 2 of the 4 are forwarded to the third.

I have accounts for these addresses in OL.

When a message are displayed in OL the address it was sent to is in the sent
column.

Therefore, does OL change the reply-to data from the header?
