How to set color depth at TS client on Win2K Pro

Matthew

Hi All

I installed TS client on Win2K Pro. When it connects to TS server on
Win2K Server, I can only choose screen size from the pull-down menu
(for example, 1024*768), but I can not choose the color depth. As a
result, the screen is always 256 color (as RDC default).

How can I choose the color depth other than 256? for example, 32-bit
true color or 24-bit true color.

Thanks

Matthew

As Dirk stated Windows 2000 Server RDP Sessions are limited to 256 colors. The only options that can increase this to 16/24 bit color depth is the addition of Citrix MetaFrame or upgrading to Windows Server 2003, and the client would then need to use Remote Desktop 5.1 or 5.2 or the Citrix ICA Client
