how to set a truetype font for command prompt window

The following Microsoft Knowledge Base article explains
how to change font for the command prompt window:

It says in step 2 that you can choose a TrueType font or
Raster Fonts.
Regarding the TrueType fonts, only the Lucida Console font
is available. The text does not explain how to add another
monospaced TrueType font in the list of fonts for the
command prompt window. Is there a way to do it?
You can suggest a hack also.
