Is DV-AVI the only output option that works with MovieMaker 2? I have a 55
minute video that I cannot save as one file as "High quality video (large)".
After about six hours (of absolutely no feedback -- I use the Windows
performance meter to watch what's going on) I get this cryptic error:
"Cannot Complete the Save Movie Wizard"
"Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location."
....
"Verify ... that there is enough free disk space available, and then try
again"
I can save as as DV-AV I -- I now have a 4 GB file and a 6 GB file as two
"halves", but how can I get a bit of compression and get this 55 min video
to fit on one DVD?
Why is there a "Recordable CD" option if that just doesn't work?
I tried to save back to the DV camera, but that seems flakey at times too --
the program gets behind, starts dropping audio and then just quits.
Is MovieMaker even worth using? There are way too many frustrations in the
final process of creating a movie. Should I be using something else?
