How to restore messages to a .dbx file

As a result of a computer crash, one of my .dbx files containing 2,500
messages was corrupted. Using an OE recovery program, I was able to recover
all the individual messages (.eml) and save them to a subdirectory. (The
recovery program does NOT restore the original .dbx file.) How can I combine
all 2,500 messages into a .dbx file? Is there a way to combine them as a
block vs. manually saving them to an OE folder one at a time?

Oops. I accidentally posted the previous message to the wrong forum. I'm
copying it to the Outlook Express forum.

Open the Windows folder that shows the EML files.
Open OE.
In OE click View | Layout | Folder List.
Make a new folder for the messages.
Arrange the windows so that you can see the EML files and the Folder List.
Select one EML file and press Ctrl-A to select all.
Drag the selection to the new OE folder you created.

Do NOT store messages in the OE default folders.
