How to restore formatting toolbar to use rich text

Good day,

Does anyone have any ideas on how to gain back use of the formatting toolbar
or rich text formatting, etc. My buttons do not highlight so no bolding,
changing color of text, etc.

Our workplace put out some update to nullify it in hopes of saving inbox
space.

Can anyone share a remedy or alternative?

Oh, so you want to violate how your company wants to setup and use THEIR
property? Talk to them to find out how to individually undo what they
did provided they allow you to do it.
