How to remove the office online and horizontal task panel

P

Paulo

Someone has been messing about with my word 2003 and now when I open word it
appears with an horizontal blue window, above the document window, with a
search box on the left side with Office online and the task panel on the
right side but with a different layout than the usual menu style task panel.
How do I set things like they used to be? and where is the command where this
alteration was made? thanks for any help

Double click on the title of the document, this will maximize the
document so that the document close "X" is closer to the Application
close "X".

You can also drag the Task Pane for the "Getting Started", etc back to
the left where you want it. Place your mouse cursor on the title bar of
the Task Pane and hover it near the far left corner, your mouse pointer
will change to a four-way cross (similar method to dragging toolbars
around) once you have the Task Pane detached from the left side drag to
the right until it snaps into the right side.
