How to remove "read only" from copied disc

C

Charlie

when I copy my presentation to a Disc, it always comes uo as "read only,"
thereby forestalling my making any changes to the presentation on the disc.
I purchased "RW" disccs. but the problem persists

When PowerPoint writes to CD, it makes a bogus assumption that it is always
a permanent media. Therefore it changes the file properties to read only.
To remove this, simply copy the presentation to your hard drive. Right
click on the file and select properties from the drop down list. Now it is
just a matter of unchecking the read-only box and hitting OK.

Post back if any of this is not clear or you run into any difficulties.
