how to remove network error

Hello Friends,
I am Sachin lad from mumbai.
I have one query regarding the emulator.
While i am running the emulator i have got one error that general
network error.check your network documentation.
Can u tell me the answer of this qoestion.

This are really less information. Please be more specific. What operating
system? Which service packs? Domain controller, member server or workstation.
What emulator, PDCEmulator? Also post the complete error message here.
