How to remove all cell shading

Is there a way to automatically remove all cell shading within an
excel document?

Here's one way:
Click the upper left corner of the headings to select the entir
sheet.

Select "Format", "Format Cells", "Patterns" and under "Color", click o
"No Color"

That should do i

Click the Select All button (to the left of column A, above row 1)
On the Formatting toolbar, click the dropdown arrow to the right of
the Fill Colour button
Choose No Fill

If there is cell shading as a result of conditional formatting, you'll
have to remove that too:

Click the Select All button
Choose Format>Conditional Formatting
Click the Delete button
Check all three boxes
Click OK, click OK
