How to relocate the list of favorites.

I would like to reassign the location of the folder that contains lists of
favorites in "Windows Vista". In Win'XP this was a function that was
performed by TweakUI. But a search of the Microsoft.com website suggests
that TweakUI is no longer around.

Hi Don,

In Explorer, right-click your Favourites folder and choose Properties, from
the context menu.

The Properties panel will appear. Select the Location tab. Press the Move
button, and select the lcoation to which you'd like to move Favourites.

TweakUI is still around, but it only works on XP. It does not work on Vista,
it refses to install. TweakUI was a Powertoy written, I think, by Raymond
Chen at Microsoft; in his spare time. I haven't seen any mention on his blog
(http://blogs.msdn.com/oldnewthing) of plans to update it for Vista (I found
TweakUI incredibly handy; but I think he regrets some of the uses it was put
to).

Hope this helps,
