How to reduce the size of ppt when insert the excel file to it

Hi all,

I am now trying to insert some excel cell to a ppt but
the size of the ppt become very large. Can anyone tell me
how to reduce the size of the ppt? Or what should i do
when inserting the excel to ppt so as to reduce the size
of the ppt.

When you copy/paste even a single cell from a spreadsheet into PPT, PPT
embeds the *entire* spreadsheet into the PPT file. That's why your files
are getting so big.

You can ungroup the inserted object; this will throw away the embedded data
and leave just a picture of the data in PPT.
