How to recover or disable windows 2000 user password

I loaded windwos 2000 professional software from a microsft
installation CD and after successful installation , I restarted the
computer and now I get the windwos asking me to enter the uer log in
and password. But I do not know the log in and password because I waas
not asked by the setup program in the first place.

Now what is the remedy other than reinstallation of the program?

Try the account name administrator with a blank password.

That is just what I thought Joe, but in truth it has been so long since
I installed a W2k let alone a W2k Pro I was unsure of the Pro's
installer behavior.
