how to read Text from html control?

Hi guys

I am writing a small application on windows mobile 6. Application enumerates all windows and look for live messenger window. after that it looks for child windows to retrieve chat text from chat window.
since on windows mobile 6 , live messenger is using html control. normal getwindowtext api fails.

Is there any other way to read text from chat window?
