How to read backup file - Import Export File option not available

I have archieved the messages and have a backup.pst file. I need to access
some old information, that is not available in my current Personal Folder
list.

I cannot see the Import and Export option on the file menu. This is after
installing outlook 2003.

Just do File-Open-Outlook Data file. Do NOT use the "import/export"
function....
