How to put powerpoint inside of powerpoint? (picture in picture?)

I am developing a stand alone kiosk running the powerpoint viewer for our
company's lobby.

I want to have a powerpoint inside of a powerpoint.

The primary powerpoint will not be editable, and will never change... but in
the center of the primary powerpoint, I want to have a dynamic powerpoint,
that our secretary can change at will. She should be able to edit the
secondary powerpoint presentation, and save it (without renaming it) and have
it auto update on the kiosk.

It is sorta like picture in picture for TV. Picture 1 is a static
powerpoint with our logo, company name, etc etc etc... Picture 2 is a looping
photo presentation that we can modify at will.

You haven't heard from anyone because probably no one can think of a way to do
what you want and still play it in the Viewer. Is that a hard and fast
requirement?

What I am hoping to do is have a Kiosk in our lobby... and have it simply
run a PowerPoint all day. It can either run in Powerpoint or in the PP
Viewer for all I care.

Hi,

See the Dynamic PowerPoint tutorial at:

Since you can use the full PowerPoint program. As Sonia was saying, the
viewer doesn't support embedded OlE objects (like a show in a show).

This tutorial will also show you how to loop the presentation.
