How to prevent to activate the next slide??

I'm trying to make a nice quiz in Powerpoint,
I allready got a problem with setting up a way to keep a score
plus that when I press somewhere on the slide that's not the good/right
answer it automaticly moves to the next slide.
Is there an easy way to work with a variable in Powerpoint or how can
I prevent the user to go to the next slide when he made the wrong choice?

You'll need to use vba to use variables
To prevent clicks advancing slide uncheck "on mouse click " in slide
transition pane
-- You will have to provide an action button /hyperlink to move on of course

Did that answer the question / help?
Yeah thanks for the help so far :)
With the VBA module that can be openend within Powerpoint
I can make a label, is that where I can add the variable
like score?

Have a search for powerpoint vba quiz for some examples

I know there are some on David Marcovitz's site here :
http://www.loyola.edu/edudept/PowerfulPowerPoint/

That link will work for now. My site is having problems, and that address
should be very temporary. It might be better to go through:

http://www.PowerfulPowerPoint.com/

I can adjust where that points to depending on the direction the wind is
blowing in the server room at Loyola College.

Also, you will want to click on "Examples by Chapter" and "Chapter 7."
There are several quiz examples in that section that keep score.
