How to open Shortcut in SAME WinExplorer window?

Assume I create a shortcut to a folder and put it in another folder.

When I double-click now onto this shortcut a SECOND WinEplorer is opened and it is jumped to the
target directory. I have seen another behaviour on other computers:
There the target folder is opened in the SAME WinExplorer windows.

How can I achieve this?

Try:

Control Panel > Folder Options > General > Open each folder in its own
window
