How to open .AWD Files

I have a problem, my friend is constantly sending me via
email an .awd file attachment which is he created in
windows 98. In windows 98 theres no problem since I can
open those files in windows 98 imaging but I wonder how I
can open those .awd files in windows XP. Anyone knows?

Explain to your friend that you can't open the files s/he is sending you
because you don't have the program in which s/he created the file. S/he
needs to tell you what program they used, or send you files created in
a more standard format (.jpg for pictures, .mp3 for music etc.). Also
explain to your friend that it is extremely risky to open attachments
that come in email and you shouldn't be doing it anyway.
