How to move old calendar events from Server calendar to pst caldr

I have created a local PST mirrored on folders on server account. I mean
Inbox->Inbox and sentitems ->sent items. Likewise, Calendar folder on my PST
has new calendar events/invites that were sent post creating PST.

How do I move the periodic calendar events/invites that were sent earlier
and residing on Server based Calendar folder into the calendar on PST?

I have been able to copy the same into anothe folder (like Calendar1, 2
etc). I am trying to avoid having multiple calendar folders.

Any help w.r.t. this is much appreciated.

I also would like to move items/appts to my main pst calendar. I have
consolidated Task Lists -- why can't I do the same with Calendars?
Thanks.

You can, and easily. Display the source calendar in table view (categories
for instance) and select all, then right click and drag to the destination
calendar FOLDER and select your option from the choices when you release the
mouse.

Along the same subject...

Can you copy the calender items into your PST folder. I noticed the move
option, but I would like to have a backup or a second source with the same
calender information in case something happens to the original.
