How to move deleted Junk Mail folder

I accidentally deleted the Junk Mail folder. I have located it in the
Deleted items folder. Outlook will not allow me to move this folder back
into the Outlook folder tree. I get an error message stating that special
folders cannot be moved.

How can I recover this folder to the correct location?

thanks in advance for all assistance

Maybe there's an easier way, but here's one approach:

Go to "Tools" then "Email Accounts..." then click "Next" then (at the
bottom) click "New Outlook Data File..." then create a new data file (.pst)
and afterwards, select the new file from the drop-down list on that same
dialog page.

After that, you'll need to go to "File" - "Open" - "Outlook Data File" and
browse to C:\Documents and Settings\~YOURUSERNAME~\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst - which should be the location of your old
pst file(the one with "Deleted Items" whacked out). With both open, you can
copy any messages you wanted to save by moving them to the new PST file and
deleting the old one.

it is a little more complicated than this. My PST is 651 K in size. It has
hundreds of folders. There has got to be an easier way to accomplish this
than to create a new PST and copy everything across.

The last time I did this, I had all kinds of trouble subsequently
synchronizing my pocket PC

Try starting Outlook once with the /resetfolders and /resetfoldernames
command line switches.
