How to make Outlook my default program for vcf files?

Not sure how to do this. Before when I got a vcf attached to an email and
opened it up, it opened up in Outlook. Now it opens in Palm Desktop and I
need to save the vcf and drag it into Outlook. How can I change this?

Right-click on the vcf on disk and choose Open With>Choose Program. Choose
Outlook and select the "Always use the selected program" box. Click OK.

Thanks for your help, but unfortunately that doesn't work. It makes the vcf
files open up as the body of an Outlook email, for some reason.

OK, then, click Start>Run and enter regedit in the Open field. Click OK.
Locate the key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\vcffile\shell\open\command. Dounble-click
"(Default)" in the right-hand pane and enter the following as the value. Be
sure to specify spaces and quotes.

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Officexx\outlook.exe" /v "%1"

In the above, the "xx" reflects your Outlook version, which you decided
wasn't important enough to mention. Use "10" for Outlook 2002, "11" for
Outlook 2003 or whatever your path to Outlook's executable shows is correct.

Oh, and it wouldn't hurt to make the same change to the registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_COMPUTER\Software\Classes\vcffile\shell\open\command
