How to make boot floppies?

GreatArtist

I was able to make a set of four floppy disks for "windows 2000
setup," but so far i can't seem to do the same thing with windows XP.
Windows XP did let me make an MS-DOS boot disk. Is that good enough to
use to reinstall windows XP if my hard drive crashes?

The MS-DOS startup disk only allows the system to boot into an MS-DOS
prompt. The disk contains no additional tools, except COMMAND, KEYB and
MODE. This is usually used for flashing the BIOS, etc..

Use the XP CD to reinstall XP if you have to, the XP CD is bootable.
