How to make a ClickOnce Certificate?

I have some temporary certificates that Visual Studio 2005 let me create, and
I even tried to place it in the certificate store. However, it still says
this is not a trusted certificate, and all of the certificate information
looks like jibberish instead of having my company's name.

How do I create a proper certificate? How do I put it in a certificate store?

I did some googling, but this turned up all sorts of unrelated hits.

You can use makecert tool.
