How To: Link to tables in a Secured database

I have users that would like to create their own Access databases on their
PC, but would like to create Linked tables to a Secured Database that we have
on our server. What are the steps needed for a user to successfully link,
without getting the error message "You do not have the necessary permissions
to use the 'X:\SecuredDB.mdb' object. Have your system administrator or the
person who created this object establish the appropriate permissions for you."

You must either
1) relax the security permissions on the database such that the Users
group can access them, OR

2) have your users launch Access with the correct MDW file for your
database. The easiest way to do this is via a customized shortcut to
launch access and designate the MDW file. See the website in my
signature for links to several online resources with additional info.
