I have the following problem:

My graphic is a bit old, and there only exist a driver to windows xp. When I
installed vista, it automaticaly installed some other driver wich locks my 3d
graphics. How can I install those xp drivers instead of vista's drivers?

I can't even play any game...:/

Please help me, and I'm sory of any errors but I'm portuguese, you see.

If there is no Vista driver available, your stuck with what Vista gave you,
it is not advisable to force an XP driver install, you will likely end up
with an unstable system.

Windows XP hardware drivers are not compatible with Windows Vista.
Consider upgrading to a more modern video card and installing the
proper Windows Vista compatible drivers.

You *cannot* install WinXP-specific drivers in Vista. You'll either
have to obtain Vista-specific drivers from the video adapter's
manufacturer, or replace the video adapter with one that is fully
Vista-compatible.

WDM!

WDM drivers made for Windows 98SE, WinMe, Windows 2000 and XP have worked
just fine for me under Windows Vista.

Isn't that the whole point of WDM drivers?

Video drivers may not work, but WDM drivers for other things like video
capture cards, TV cards, network cards, etc.

Saying that XP drivers aren't compatible with Vista is a little misleading.

You are right, some are some are not, best to try first and go get if it
don't work.

I agree this would not work for a graphics card but I have used the built-in
to XP drivers for my Umax SCSI scanner in Vista and they work absolutely
fine. Vista does not have built in drivers for the scanner and Umax are not
releasing Vista drivers.
