how to insert product key

hi,

i have product key which came with the DELL personal computer but without
proper knowledge somebody re-installed the pirated XP SP 2 ,but now im having
that pirated software found massage.is there anyway to insert my original
product key without re-install XP again.

Product Key Update Tool. You can download it from this link:

If none if these steps don't help, in-place upgrade will be needed.

thanks for your information given. i really apriciate ur kindly help. i
tried it but it said my product key is invalid .but according to my knowledge
,my managing director taken genuine microsoft copies.

I don't know who Anton is or what your problem was or what you tried
because you haven't referenced anything. If you are having a problem

You can check your product key using the following tool:

If product key displayed by the tool does not match your product key then
try using the KeyUpdateTool
(http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/purchase/UpdateInstructions.aspx) to
change it. If this does not help, then you have to preform In-Place upgrade
of your operating system using the appropriate CD media and product key
(http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=315341).
