how to include "&" in subject of hyperlink

Hi
I need the hyperlink message subject appears as "E&D Reporting" but it turns
out to be just "E". A double check at edit the hyperlink, the subject as
"E&D%20Reporting" is not possible. It seems that "&" is not recognised in
the system. Is there anyway I can have my hyperlink message subject appear
as I want it to be i.e. "E&D Reporting".
Appreciate your help ASAP.
