Hi,

I have trouble to access my old mails after migration from old Outlook
Express to new Microsoft Mail.

I have made exports from old Outlook Express to .CSV files (readable with
exel), but I cannot import
them into Microsoft Mail.

Any clue how to import my old mails now?

Thanks and best regards,
Rainer

When your "Contacts" folder is open, do you have an "import" tool in the tool bar?

Hi,

ok guys - Now I can assume that I have (wrongly) exported OE mails into a
..CSV file that is meant for contacts.
(I probably had only minor options in OE for exporting mails that time, so I
wrongly took the CSV...!?!?!)

Now that I am working with MS Mail (student version - I am not happy with it
because it has limited formatting etc.) and thanks to your help, I
understand that I cannot import the mails and I might also change to
Thunderbird now...

Thanks again,
Rainer

(P.S.: At least I have saved all my mails (before my old PC crashed) and I
can open them with exel - I must admit this is not convenient at all... but
better than nothing)
