How to get Outlook Express Multiple Identities into Outlook 2003

In Outlook Express I have 4 subaccounts below my main account. They are
referred to as Identities. I can import all the messages from each into
Outlook 2003. But, for example, the Saved Emails folder for all four
Identities in Outlook Express are all combined into one Saved Emails folder
in Outlook 2003. How do I keep all the messages for each Identity separate
as they are in Outlook Express?

Outlook 2003 (11.6359.6360) SP1

What do you mean by the "saved emails" folder? There's no such folder as
this by default in OE. Is this a folder you have created yourself? If
so, just rename each "saved emails" folder to reflect the particular
identity it's in, and then *EXPORT* from OE - do NOT import in Outlook.

Yes, "Saved Emails" is a folder I've created. I can do as you suggest and
that will solve the problems of all 4 identities emails going into one
folder. However, my real issues is I want to retain the 4 identities I have
in OE and have them in Outlook. I have multiple businesses and need to keep
email contract organized. Will Outlook handle multiple identities as OE does?

No, it uses profiles. They are very similar EXCEPT that you cannot
"hot-switch" between Outlook Profiles like you can with OE Identities.
You have to close Outlook to change Profiles.

You can't. For home use and convenience Outlook is pretty worthless.
Uninstall the Outlook program in Office setup-modify, and use Outlook
Express, a much better email package for a family with multiple identities..

You could also try installing Mozilla, Thunderbird or Opera, all of which
are free now, but they are as convoluted as Outlook. In truth Outlook
Express is the most sensible email handling package for the non business user
where you want to keep your emails separate without requiring a computer
reboot between users.

Huh? Thunderbird as /convoluted/ as Outlook?
