how to format a word with overstrike chars in outlook

I would like to show overstrike characters atop a word in an outlook mail
message.
Is this do-able? and if so, how is it done?

If you're using Word as the mail editor, click Format>Font and check the box
labeled "Overstrike".

Oops. I said "Overstrike" when I should have said "Strikethrough".
