How to fill a datatable from xml without a dataset

Hello,

how can I fill a programatically created datatable with data from an
xml file without having an dataset.
The xml data have to be validated against a schema.

Is there a ado.net builtin functionality, or do I have to code the
functionality by myself.

Any help is apreciated

What is agains adding the table to a dataset it are 2 rows of code?
dim ds as new dataset
ds.tables.add(mycreatedcode)

And than see what dataset.merge can do for you.
