How to do different 'Shared Boarders' in sub-folder on web site?

Will

I have a website and want to create a 'mobile' version in a sub-folder...
for smart phones, cell phones and other small screen devices.

I have named the folder 'mobile' and have the following files in it...

index.html
about.htm
contact.htm
other.htm

Each of these is shown in the top shared boarder on the main web site... and
when I copied them into the sub-folder 'mobile' the links copied.

But, I want the links in the sub-folder to link to the files in the
sub-folder... the 'mobile' folder... and not back to the main folder.

How can I have the 'shared boarders' on the files in the 'sub-folder'
different than those in the main folder.

thanks for any help.

Make the folder a subweb, then you can have a fully independent set of
shared borders, includes, themes etc.
To convert the folder into a subweb, right-click on the folder and
select "Convert to web" from the context menu.

I haven't used shared borders in a long time, but you may want to make sure
that the shared border is not a fixed width - that wouldn't work too well on
a small screen device.
