How to display a flash object's image in Edit Mode

Hi,

I am creating some powerpoint presentations with Flash chart in it.
everything is fine. However, in the edit mode, the flash object is alwasy
displayed with a big cross sign box. If I run the slide show and mouse click
on the flash chart, then back to edit mode, the flash object will show the
chart Image instead of a Big Cross sign.

But if I close and reopen the presentation, every flash object is back to a
big cross sign again. is there anyway to make the flash object to display the
flash chart's image instead of a big cross sign after reopen?

or if this is not possible, is it possible to have a image cover on top of
the flash object. but during slide show, it will run the flash movie but not
show the image? I am dealing with a presentation with a lot of flash charts,
so this is very helpful.

Thanks.

I find that resizing a flash object in edit mode (with the mouse) will get
it to show the first frame of the flash (or it's a single image that will
show up). This then sticks after save. At least tha's what happens in
PP2003.
cheers

but for me both PPT 2003 and 2007, if I resize, the Big cross will disappear,
but I only have a white rectangular. the image will never display. the only
way to get it display in edit mode is going into slide show, mouse click on
the flash oject, then back to edit mode. but it won't stick after save.
