I use the wireless networking infrequently on my laptop, so it's very
annoying to have to dismiss the stupid "Sireless neteork connectionis
not connected" balloon tip that pops up from the tray every time I
boot.

Any ideas on how to disable this, but not all balloon tips?

Create a new hardware profile and remove the wireless network card
(Device Driver Properties, select Do Not Use ... in this profile).
Then make this hardware profile your default profile. Set the delay to
3 seconds, so that if you do want to use your wireless, you will have
time to select the other profile when you boot.

Doesn't work, All it does is make the wireless idon disappear if it's
connected. The balloon still pops up if there's no connection.
