how to delete a style and it's contents from a single document

Q

i have used a style for reviewing remarks in a word doc (instead of using
comments) is there a way to auto "remove" the style "contents only" from a
document. I do want to see the style in my style choices for future docs.

You can use Find and Replace to find the text formatted with your style and
replace it with nothing, i.e. remove it:

1. Select Edit > Replace. In the Find and Replace dialog box, click More.
Make sure to turn off all check buttons and formatting.

2. Make sure the insertion point is in "Find what" - the field must be
empty. Then click Format (bottom of dialog box) and select Style. In the Find
Style dialog box, select the style you want to find, then click OK.

3. Make sure the "Replace with" field is empty.

4. Click "Replace All".
