How to create a macro?

I frequently send clients a welcome letter so have saved it to Word. I would
like to record the series of mouse clicks I perform in a macro. For example,
the cursor will automatically move from the place where I write the clients
name directly to the middle of the text where I need to fill in a date and so
on. Is this possible?

Create the letter as a form, with formfields for the fill-in bits. Then you
can tab back and forth between them.
