how to create a cummulative column next to a stacked column

I have created a stacked column of data but want to show a column next to it
to reflect a cummulative figure (not stacked). ie. two columns per person in
this case, one stacked for the current month data and the other not stacked
for a year to date total.

Isn't the height of the stack sufficient to indicate the total?

If not, you'll have to rearrange your data and rechart it:
