I have peer-to-peer network at work connected to the internet via DSL. Now,
how can I get files off my workstation at work from home? TIA.

Does your "work" network have a VPN?
Will the administrator allow you to install Remote Desktop (if you're
running XP Pro)
Will the administrator allow you to install pcAnywhere?

There are also online storage facilities whereby you could upload your files
from the office and download them at home.

Also check out your firewall settings that allow ports (specifically
the FTP port (21 i think) to a specific machine at work that has a ftp
server installed upon it.

so:
1: install an ftp (or prefered a secure ftp
http://www.google.com/search?q=secure+ftp ) server on a pc at work

2: Open the port on your NAT box (likely the router, or host machine
depending on how you are sharing the DSL connection) to the machine
which you set up in step 1.

3: Find out what your Work DSL IP address is. (note, it might
periodically change)

4: Install a (secure) ftp client on your machine at home and connect
to the ip address discovered in step 3.

5: download your files.

good luck

I'm only guessing here based on the question, that your company is
small, therefor no training in this matter. Speak to your boss/Sys
admin. at your company and recommend them to look into SSH (Secure
Shell). Well wort the $$$ and very inexpensive. I think one server
licence is under $500 and client is around $100
