How to clear all data in Outlook and start over

I had trouble with my pocket pc and Activesync. I need to erase all the
"stuff" in Outlook and sync my pocket pc again. I can't find a way to clear
all the entries -- other than one entry at a time. Are there folders for
each area, e.g., Contacts, Notes, and Calendar?

With Outlook closed, rename your .pst file to something like .old (saves
time if you need it back). Then go to control panel, mail icon, create a
new mail profile with a new .pst file.

Thanks -- but, I am not familiar with the process. I use AOL (not Outlook)
for my email. In addition, I only use Outlook as a "place" to save and
"manipulate" the data I use on my Pocket PC. In addition, I only use the
features "Contacts",
"Notes", and "Calendar", on the Pocket PC.

I did rename the Outlook.pst file . Then went to the mail icon --- and
didn't really know what to do. As a "try", I did create a file and named it
"Outlook.pst". However, since it was "empty", it naturally didn't work.

Is there a way out?
Thanks again.

Version of Outlook?
See http://www.slipstick.com/Tutorials/profile/profile.htm for how to create
a new profile in 2003 or 2007.

If you just want to delete the contents of the pst, switch the folders to
but By category view (on the View menu), select all and delete.
