How to Clean Out the Right-Click Menu?

Hi All,

Would someone be so kind as to share the procedures to get rid of all the
crap that has built up in my right-click context menu when using MSIE (6.0).
I will never use 95% of those commands, and I just want the right-click menu
to be clean and simple.

Thanks for your help.

Be ****Very Careful**** what you remove_
Run > "regedit" (no quotes) > Navigate To:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt]

Thanks for the info.

I used this to remove several items, though several others still remain,
such as: Save Background, Set as Background, and Copy Background. Any ideas
where these come from?

They are default to the Browser settings and your operating system.
I advised against removing anything - you may now see issues when attempting
certain tasks.

Not all Windows features should be construed as an annoyance that should be
removed.

I didn't remove these Background items, though I would like to. They
certainly are annoyances. How many people truly need quick access to
commands for working with a page background? Maybe Bill Gates does. :)

Have a great weekend.
