How to change the Word default color palette?

C

Cindy M.

Hi =?Utf-8?B?Q2hlcnls?=,
Can anyone out there give me the procedure to change the Word default color
palette?
Word does not support the concept of "color palettes" like Excel and
PowerPoint do. There is no way to change which colors Word displays "by
default". This will change in Word 2007.

Hi Cheryl,

While you can't easily replace the default Color palette in Word for filling shapes or for coloring lines you can save the eight
most recently used items to reuse by saving them with a document or saving a document that has those 8 items used, as a Word
template. If in a template then new documents opened from that template will have the eight additional choices on the new document.
