How to automatically maximize size of new window

M

Mark M Simonian

I use several Web sites that provide medical information. I wondered if
there is a setting in Internet Explorer 6 that configures a new window to
open to fill the screen. I am using XP Ppr. Often the Window is only
partially sized very little information is visible. How can I maximixe the
screen, instead of trying to use the mouse to enlarge the Window size.

Okay, two things.

Option 1: Open IE, find a page and right click on a link and select open in
new window. Close the FIRST window that you opened. Using your mouse DRAG
the lower right corner and the upper left corner to a full screen. Do NOT
use the MAXIMIZE button. When you have the screen the size you want hold the
ctrl key and click on the "X" in the upper right. New windows should open at
that size until some script comes along and changes it again.

Option 2: Always stay in kiosk mode. Press F11 and it should remember that
setting.

Certainly. I can answer any question. I may not be able to answer it with
the answer that the OP wanted but I can surely give them an answer. <g>
