How To Automatically Close Inactive Share Sessions?

B

Does anyone here know if there is a way to configure XP Pro to close any
inactive sessions tied to local shares? Here's my situation:

Because XP Pro can only handle 10 concurrent connections, any share set
up on an XP Pro machine can only handle 10 users at a time.

But, I have observed that even after a user stops accessing a share on
an XP Pro machine (it doesn't matter if he's using a mapped drive, a direct
shortcut, etc...), the session itself remains active. This means that 10
users could remotely access a share on an XP Pro machine, and then they
could disconnect, but new users still would not be able to connect to the
share.

Of course, usually you get around this by using a Server class OS, but
that isn't an option here, so please no one suggest that.

So far I have gotten around this problem by having the system reboot
every morning, resetting the session count back to 0. If, during the day,
there are issues, then I use MMC to manually close any inactive sessions.

But it would be really nice to set XP Pro to automatically disconnect
sessions that are inactive, or have been inactive for XX number of minutes,
etc. Does anyone know how to do this?
