How remove or change word "contents" in Word 2007?

On the Contents page, assign a different style to the title "Contents"
from that used for the headings. It can have exactly the same
attributes as long as it has a different name. (Then Update the ToC.)

Yes, when I tried to select, then that stupid "Update table" popped up(why
it pop up exactly on word 'content"?...), but I tried select behind it- and
it worked! I deleted this word!

But if the title "Contents" on the contents page is still in the same
Style as Heading 1 or whatever, the next time you update the ToC, it
will be back.
