How many XP PRO workstations can you connect on a peer-to-peer home network
?
5 or 10 ?

Hi,

A computer running XP Home Edition allows a maximum of 5 other
computers to connect to its shared resources simultaneously. A
computer running XP Professional allows a maximum of 10 other
computers to connect to its shared resources simultaneously.

Computers that aren't actively connected to a computer's shared
resources don't count against the limit. When a computer disconnects
from a shared resource, it no longer counts against the limit. See
this site for more information:

An important distinction to remember: you may only have one "machine"
accessing yours, but it could be running more than one simultaneous
connection. So don't get upset if 10 "users" can't access your
computer at the same time.
