How long is it going to take MS to update their database so that the weather gadget works?

I have set my region to Hong Kong English and the weather gadget still shows
Service not available this date. I am on RTM. It is kinda hard to believe
that with launch so close, I still can't see the weather with the
gadget.......

The data for the weather is provided by Foreca. The weather gadget is
working for me when I set it to Hong Kong, do any other locations work?

Works fine here, must be your internet connection.

i am from middle of nowhere in Finland and the weather gadget works fine
here. Thanks Foreca, weather service in Finland.

This thing will not work if you set your systemwide Location in your control
panel to Hong Kong and try to type in Hong Kong (or any other place
including redmond) in the weather gadget. It will respond with service not
available.

If you set the system-wide location to US, then Hong Kong in the gadget
works. This was covered over 1 month back when the explanation was that
Foreca needed to update there regions database to include some of the cities
in the world as valid regions.......
