How Lock Clipart Position?

A

Al Franz

I inserted a Banner type graphic of Clipart into a Word 2003 document. But
anything I try I can't seem to lock it's position so I can have text type
over the Banner graphic of clipart. How can this be done?

Hi Al

couple of suggestions:
1) double click on the banner and then from the layout tab choose Behind
Text

or

use the Banner Autoshapes (drawing toolbar / autoshapes / banners) - you can
make them look pretty using the other icons on the drawing toolbar & adding
text is a breeze - you just right mouse click on it and choose Add text -
which you can then format using the icons on the formatting toolbar - or
under format / font.

Hope this helps
Cheers

Insert a textbox over it (don't forget to "format text
box"). When you finish with the text, hold down the shift
key and "group" your objects.
