I exported outlook contacts to excel, edited, and then imported (replaced duplicates) and found out that in the process the "Notes" field was truncated (to about 254 characters).
I did some experiments, such as exporting without exporting the notes field and then importing - do not work. I also tried to remove the "Notes" field when importing - did not work either.
I think the problem (other than the field length restriction) is that the data is not merged when imported, rather the whole contact is replaced (so I can't really exclude the notes field).
Any insights or solutions? Your help is greatly appreciated.
